Phenomenal achievement for Limerick's and @TreatyUnitedFC Madison McGuane x 2 and Katie Lawlee to be shortlisted for FAI International Player of Year awards. Credit to all those who have driven better pathways for our young girls in football

This is the kind of headline you want for Parkville u13s, let's hope we see these young girls follow their dreams and someday play in the Women's National League and for the Girls in Green
Treaty United were delighted to have @Parkville1988 U13 girls at the Markets Field for a special training session 🙌 Treaty United values participation, inclusivity and enjoyment in sport and is committed to developing pathways for young girls to fulfil their potential. We wish the Parkville girls the very best of luck in their first league game this weekend 👏

@tclansee The LDSL are now willing to "break their own rule" and allow Parkville back into city league this season. As you said Tom most importantly the kids get to play

@aoifasheehan Absolutely, the good news is these girls have entered another league but it reflects so poorly that when this issue was flagged nobody took the time to prioritise what these young girls wanted. Sadly it's the way things are run in Limerick, it's toxic

@CiaranHess09 @aoifasheehan The clubs are very much at fault. They vote for the officers. However all is not fair in love and war

@oliviaos Unfortunately Olivia, same was done to Janesboro ladies team last year, refused entry to Limerick District League and had to play in county league where they still play this year.Ignored by relevant authorities. And there's more, other clubs in Limerick who have yet to come forward

@EndaCurran1 @TreatyUnitedFC Farewell Enda, most people saw you just as a striker on the pitch, off the pitch you gave supporters and volunteers so much of your time. The way u treated my kids was second to none and they idolised u because u treated everyone so well. A great ambassador, wish you all the best

@Kopper12 It's reality. Ruined football for so many kids and adults in this town. Ignored by the governing body when all the evidence was presented to them. Munster Council aware too. Ignored there also. They will use this tweet to try do me again for bringing the game into disrepute
