From nation standpoint, Trading is not an activity which adds any economic value in real terms (govt does earn revenue but thats a different thing).. more trading hours means billions of more man hours everyday getting wasted on a non value adding activity.

These young guys getting into trading and dreaming of easy money is dangerous.. 5-10% of them will be successful but rest will destroy their capital, mostly borrowed from parents. Then they'll get into depression, even before start of their career. Certainly not worth glorifying.

I had similar situation when I lost my 25L cap and was left with only 32k left, when I decided to give it one last shot.. 😜
Your learning curve is superb.. I am sure you would be able to bring down charges to <20%, only thing you have to deal with is no. of 0dte reducing

Far otm selling mostly gives profits but also takes it all back quickly on a trending day.. hence it would hv been bettet to not hide absolute profit number..

Traders at large are still bullish and taking today's correction as a one off move, but it also may have to do with strong resurgence of Chinese markets. Even after strong rebound, Hang Seng PE is only at around 12 vs. Nifty which at 25, making it a very attactive bid for FII's

Bye bye daily 0dte wef 20th Nov.. expiries will reduce from 5 to 2 per week.. don't think any of the other measure would impact the volumes much except this one..

absolutely with you on this.. my last 2.5 months return on cap of 15L is around 500% that too mostly from options selling.. so 100%/200% is nothing even on large cap also.

Strange mismatch between option prices between 15:03 to 15:04 candle. Sensex 85600 CE moved from 30 to 78.. based on this 85500 CE should have been atleast 178 or more, but it moved only one point up from 131 to 132.

Seeing twitter / telegram in morning today, everyone was just talking of spikes.. big daddies just played accordingly. Gave spikes but in the form of injections, not allowing anyone to book. Squeezed all premiums towards the end.

Tdy's mkt in summary.. Nifty 25100 CE opened at Rs. 23 and hit high of 63 and then came back to 23 by 12 noon. From here, it shot to 100 and back to Rs. 7. From there again shot to Rs. 113 and finally closed at Rs. 52.

Gone are those days when FnO was a very attractive mean for option writers. I myself made bout 2 cr on cap of merely 15 lakhs in just 6 months. But the spikes these days are difficult to manage & can snatch months of earnings in few mins. Learning new dynamics of this mkt is key.
