If you're an artist who tried Mastodon but found it to be too quiet, try Aethy! We only block servers who host abusive and hateful content unlike other artist friendly servers. They have block lists that contain hundreds of domains, blocking access to tens of thousands of users.

With "None", we apply no limits to federation but we can choose to "Reject media files". In order for a user to see media (e.g. an image or video), they have to click through to a link to the post on the original instance. They can't view that piece of media directly from Aethy.
