Being an Institute of national importance with a motto of “Creating infinite possibilities,” IISER Tirupati came with a lot of potential. With substantial funding, it has been developing world-class infrastructure and state-of-the-art labs.

To put it into perspective, Prof. Mashelkar mentioned that this might be a kind of convocation with a separate section for parents and appreciated it. They guided us through their life narratives, the history of IISER, and Prof. CNR Rao's unforgettable contributions.

A very thoughtful addition to the program was a Mandapam set by the institute with dozens of coolers for the event joinee in the sense of Tirupati’s dry and extremely hot weather. I must say, the institute nailed it with this consideration.

I appreciate the timely execution of all the sessions and activities. The planning and organizing were spot on, with the admins quick to assist in small queries of links for live streaming, finding the strolls, badges, etc.

Give yourself some break, research for me yielded a nonlinear trajectory always. I will not say whether if it is worth it or not...but remember the great moments u had while living this dream. This field thrives on uncertainty & u know more than anyone else, this is true freedom.

The entrance test IAT, being very less competitive compared to trendy career alternatives, NEET and JEE, makes it easier to join in, which made a diverse background, mentality, and ambitions of students combine in an institute with a very healthy ratio of girls: boys.

The best thing about IISER T is the research exposure it provides to the students while following a very flexible curriculum, which puts no limit on the number of students joining a department. Which I think should be continued.

This delayed graduation is truly a disastrous thing happening in India. It kills opportunities, disrupts mental peace and is just due to lack of good planning. Must be improved soon. So called "विकसित भारत" needs its foundations strong.
We, the graduating class of 2024 from IISER Bhopal, are facing severe issues regarding our convocation ceremony:
1️⃣Ignored concerns: Despite our polite emails, phone calls were dismissed with rude remarks, prioritizing the chief guest's availability over student needs.

The international MoUs with institutes like Uni of Melbourne, Columbia Uni, Cornell Uni, etc., and exchange with Max Planck, ENS, etc., at such an early stage, are highly appreciated.

The faculty truly are amazing, very young on average, with a visible enthusiasm to contribute and improve academic practices. Most of them are very good at organizing work-life balance, which I am very proud of.

I noticed this trend in Indian academia, the job application deadlines hve a very short window (1-4 weeks), compared to European counterpart (In months). It creates an unnecessary chaos, most of time the candidates don't even receive the news. What's ur thought?

The Institute is fully operational with 100% staff and faculty members working in-person. All PhD, IPhD, Post-Docs and 5th, 4th Yr BS-MS experimental research students are in campus. The '19,'20 batches of BS- MS students will be returning to campus on 09.12.2021.

I hope there will be a way out of this. In our case atleast it was late scheduling of senate and BoG meeting which caused the delay. Most likely they scheduled it late cause of PhD defence. But knowing both have different deans, provisional certificate should've been provided.

This truly is a sad underrated aspect of being active volunteer. Regarding it as a academic slavery* won't be a wrong comparison. As subconsciously u have to listen to people in charge once u get to know them personally, otherwise there is always fear of getting wronged by them.
