That’s not true at all, the Arab Champions Cup is basically a friendly tournament that have been on and off since the 90s and Saudi teams didn’t bother playing in it until 2018/19 when Saudi hosted it, it took 4 years to finish the 2018 Cup and the final was played in 2022
