Market Updates + @StoryProtocol Fiasco 🧩 Producer Price Index (PPI) data came out higher than expected meaning wholesale prices for goods increased. PPI & CPI data further reduces probability of a rat cut in March. Markets have priced in FOMC rate decision. More choppiness expected below key resistance. Bitcoin: 🧩 Still in the 91.6k to 100k range! Will continue to stay for a while. Boring PA for sure until break out of range high! Ethereum: 🧩 Hit key resistance level and got rejected! We need a breakout to the upside above 2,930 for Alts to get some sort of relief! Story Protocol: 🧩 Confusions and uncertainty regarding the Sybil filtering process used by Story team. Users with good amount of Badges & Commemorative NFT weren’t eligible. Wallets with couple of months to a few years old transaction history multi-chain didn’t qualify either. 🧩 Few users with little multi-chain history had participated in the validator program during Illiad testnet and collected badges during Odyssey. Maybe the reasoning to not use their main wallet was to avoid any compromise and keeping node wallets separate while using the node wallet to collect badges? @jasonjzhao @mushy would like to get more clarification on that. 🧩 Important to note that 5% of the airdrop will go directly to users in full through ecosystem rewards, meaning in the next few days, teams building on Story Mainnet will have to allocate the rewards to the users of the testnet. Note: This is not a FUD against Story in any sort. Just a sentiment analysis on what’s going on. Long term, still bullish on Story (IP) and their vision. Execution is key and they have shown great promise on their deliverables. Have a good one!

@MikeIppolito_ Yep dilution as we know it. First L2s on Eth and now *purpose built* L1s. Instead of figuring out how to build a working product on an existing chain, teams decide to go their own L1 and with no real differentiator as to why this L1 and not the other!

Tbh I believe snapshot is taken, so having a spike in volume wouldn’t matter. Then again it’s OpenSea end of the day, they are late to everything! Expectations are relatively low, not a lot of excitement on the timeline. We have whales who lost 3x more in fees and rugs for what they would get on the airdrop.
