I joined the Speaker of HoR, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbass, Rt. Hon @femigbaja, the COS President, Ogun State Governor, @DapoAbiodunCON and other top parliamentarians to pay last respect for late Hon. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga, the Deputy Chief Whip of the HoR at her Salat- Al-Janazah.

Yesterday, I presided over the Senate Committee on Appropriations to receive reports from Senate Committees on the 2025 Appropriation Bill. We have 9 days to lay the report before the whole house for approval, to ensure timely passage to @officialABAT for his accent.

The Senate Committee on Appropriations under my leadership had an interactive session with top management of NNPCL, NUPRC and other agencies to get more information on the fundamental of the 2025 Appropriation Bill.

Today I attended the wedding and Sword Crossing of the daughter of a colleague, Senator Yunus Abiodun Akintunde at Eagle Square, Abuja. The ceremony had in attendance Minister of Power, Minister of State for Health, Chairman of FIRS, Senator Abdul Ningi and many serving senator.

Myself alongside Hon. Abubakar Bichi had a briefing session with President’s economic team led by @FinMinNigeria and Coordinating Min, Mr Wale Edun and others. The briefing centered largely on the performance of the 2024 budget and the workings of the 2025 appropriation bill.

Members of Senate Committee on Appropriations and others cut short their Yuletide break to start legislative work on the 2025 Appropriation Bill for timely presentation of report for the Senate/National Assembly to pass the bill into law.

I am greatly saddened by the passage of this great woman from Ogun State, who contributed greatly to the nation's socioeconomic development. I pray for the peaceful repose of the soul of the deceased and fortitude for the immediate family to bear the irreparable loss.

Earlier today, I joined Senators, State Governors and Vice President of FRN to pay a New Year homage to President @officialABAT, at his residence in Ikoyi, Lagos. Let us keep working together as a people connected by a common goal. Happy New Year! May 2025 be our best year.

Myself and my wife, Mrs Temitope Adeola joined other prominent dignitaries in Abeokuta for the wedding ceremony of the son of Ogun state former deputy governor, Alhaja Salmot Badru. Congratulations to the newly wedded couple.

Today, myself alongside the leadership of the Legislature visited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR in Aso Rock Villa to discuss issues of National interest.

Here is a newly completed and fully equipped state-of-the-art ICT HUB in OBADA GRAMMAR SCHOOL IMEKO AFON. The hub sited in the premises of the school is designed to enhance secondary school students’ knowledge of ICT and digital technology.

In my quest to improving educational infrastructure and fostering development in Ipokia LGA, here is a newly completed 2-storey building with 18 fully furnished classrooms, offices and a water facility at Maun Community Commercial School, Maun.

In my quest to boost educational infrastructure in Ogun West, I facilitated a 2 blocks of 16 classrooms equipped with modern furnitures at Army Day Secondary School, Owode, in Yewa South LGA which will no doubt ease overcrowding and improve the learning experience of students.

In my quest to improving education in Ipokia LGA, here is a 2-storey building with 18 classrooms and offices at Mayigi Community High School, Ilashe. This modern facility provides a conducive learning environment, raising the bar for educational infrastructure in the region.
