Mission accomplished! #Projectpacer International concluded work in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. Over 200 patients with #Chagas were evaluated in clinics, and a subset underwent PPM/ICD/CRT implants. Thanks to the outstanding group of volunteers, and Clínica de las Americas

Partners In Health announced that its founder, Dr. Paul Farmer, unexpectedly passed away today in his sleep while in Rwanda. Dr. Farmer was 62 years old. He is survived by his wife, Didi Bertrand Farmer, and their three children. 1/🧵
