Adding a bit to this: Graveman was cleared to begin throwing late last season and has had a normal offseason throwing program. He’s expected to be ready for spring training/opening day.
With relievers going off the board, one guy getting a lot of late interest is Kendall Graveman who is healthy after missing last season with a shoulder injury. Had back-to-back years of 60-plus appearances before going down. Lots of teams looking for set-up men after several closers have signed here recently.

Estevez’s market has picked up a bit recently. No indication anything is imminent, but multiple clubs who’ve been frustrated with price of FA hitters have started to pivot to bullpen. Estevez among those who’s gotten some new/renewed interest from teams.
The Cincinnati Reds are engaged in talks for free agent closer Carlos Estevez, who has saved 57 games the past two seasons.

#Phillies right-hander Jose Cuas cleared waivers and was outrighted to AAA, I’m told. He was DFA back on 12/23, but the holidays freeze up the DFA/waiver process every year. He’s sticking with Philly and will be in camp as a non-roster player.

@nut_bunnies 90% of transactions come out as “this is close.” To double down on them — which we’ve done in the past — would overwhelmingly annoy the majority of the user base. Especially since “close to” and “done deal” are usually separated by minutes.

@Cotterlips Lux has two years, so maybe Lux+, but I feel like they’ll want more control in general. Feels like you’re trying to send LAD spare parts. Doubt that wins any bidding among the multiple contenders who’d love to have Williams
