I have friends who are in "VC Crypto" that I've tried to introduce to the #Cardano community. This post and the whale's previous post about @book_io's Credit Card purchasing option (minting with @nmkr_io, of course) made me think about my disappointment when they don't "get it.".
I haven’t seen many things on par with @book_io, @axotrade, @IagonOfficial or @WorldMobileTeam on other chains. Clearly Cardano is fertile ground for builders. To me that speaks volumes, what everyone else (builders, VCs, users) does with that information is up to them really.

There is a very good reason for this. The SPOs aren't supposed to have a say in these parameters. In fact, after seeing this post from @_KtorZ_, I now believe it was a mistake to give SPOs a say in the Security Parameters. For a bit of history: The "Security Parameter".
How come SPOs aren't amongst voters for the Networking Group of protocol parameters? 🤨. Am I missing something obvious here, or shouldn't the folks *actually running* the network have a say in updating parameters that may impact this very network?.

I understand the sentiment of those who ask if we should consider waiting to name a hard fork after Matt Plomin and have considered the question. Here are the reasons why I think we should proceed. The "Chang Hard Fork" was originally only supposed to be one hard fork that would.
