The UK shouldn't be recruiting junior doctors from other nations, we should be training more of our own here as UK medical schools are vastly oversubscribed with excellent candidates. I know because I sit on their interview panels.
Raising the minimum salary for a skilled foreign worker from £26,200 to over £35,000 means no junior doctors, nurses, allied health professionals. This is definitely not going to work.
