I wonder how many of the 8 million are elderly, disabled, vulnerable or living on the street? I wonder how many are in care and have never had the routine or awareness of self care. It's easy to jump on a headline but theres undoubtedly some underlying cause behind the numbers.

I can assure you Mandy. These type of kids have no desire to engage with activities. I could organise a football event tomorrow for 50 of them, provide all the kit and balls etc and I'd end up stood there by myself come kick off. They're making these decisions themselves.

The problem goes further than banning one breed at a time. Heavily regulated licensed and ethical breeding needs to be pushed, stronger punishments for those who breed or own dangerous dogs, a dog licensing system / insurance for owning dogs would make us all more accountable.

Sickens me this. Dogs regardless of how good their training or recall is - need to be leaded. They're lovely and playful up until the point they're not. I hope tiny dog is ok and owner of bigger dog is prosecuted. Dangerously out of control.
