Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Lewis Blackman today - a fantastic former student and a dear friend to many. Staff and former students are attending his funeral this morning and we honour and remember him now and in the future.
Today we start our rapid COVID testing arrangements for willing volunteers from our Core Provision students. We will be ready to roll this out to all students in due course ahead of a return to school.

The year 7 boys basketball team went undefeated this season, winning all 6 of their fixtures! Many of the students had not played competitive basketball before starting at Acland Burghley & through outstanding dedication have become very competent players in a short time.

This weekend, a group of 48 year 10 students went on their practice Duke of Edinburgh Bronze expedition. On this 2-day hiking trip students used their new skills to navigate the countryside, cook their own meals and to set up their tents for a night of camping.
