@AndMelee @kage_urufu @Cornfed_Ian @JoeMerrick Hondour is one of the cooler pokemon that serve as a late prise. In Gen 2 the concept of showcasing the new gen mons weren't a thing yet. They were all just pokemon. And some were chosen as a rewars for completing the game. It's a consistent design choice that happens to this day
