Couple years ago I gathered so many videos of racism towards black people in Arab countries. Racism on live TV shows, movies, music, in public, etc. I approached Al Jazeera and other networks about it but I didn’t get a response.
Now that Twitter is as important or more, man’s gonna do a whole thread. I just need to find that folder and if I don’t, I’m gonna do a new one (Dont worry, I have time for this).

13. The presenter tells him to stop and remember that Bilal (RA), the Prophet's (SAW) companion who was black. The guest mocks this and refuses to stop his racism.
11. Azmi We Ashgan - (characters in skin-darkening makeup and wigs). Saved by her new boss from a rich man who wanted to make sexual advances as a house-maid. Her father arrives in the house & her boss bursts “Did I get this house for fun or did I buy it to set free some slaves?”
15. 7a7a W Tofa7a - In this scene, a woman goes to a cafe to call her sister in Somalia. The receptionist makes racist remarks"It's easier to get to Bin Laden than contact Somalia" & "I'd rather be single than marry a Somali" followed by the mocking of civil war & bombings there.
I appreciate all the positive comments under this thread. I will make sure to put these videos and more together and make it into a documentary. In the meantime please subscribe to my YouTube channel for more content in the near future:
Exactly about a year ago I posted this thread and promised I'd do a short documentary on the topic. I'm humbled to finally share it with you guys. 'Anti-blackness in Arab Media' is on YouTube now after hours of editing. Please check it out here
