Last day of our calculator math elective, students created scavenger hunts, where they came up with equations and hid them around the school. Students had to solve each other’s equations with a calculator in order to find the other clue. This was a favorite! 🧮@underwoodgtm

Such a fun holiday STEM activity! Students made mazes out of festive straws and used a bouncy ball to try and escape each other’s creations. They were so engaged! 🎄@underwoodgtm #smallschoolBIGtalent

That’s a wrap on year 3 teaching Soaring Skyscrapers with @sanndavis ! I love watching the excitement when students finally present the skyscrapers they created! It made me so🤗hearing kids say on the way out how much they ❤️this elective! @underwoodgtm #smallschoolBIGtalent

@Aphieducator I like the group size number difference.. I never really thought about having different numbers of students in groups but it definitely makes sense why it would help!
