In 2006, Govt approved N211bn for the construction of dual carriageway of East-West Road, connecting three states of Delta, Rivers and Akwa Ibom. It was abandoned for decades. In 2017, Govt released N3bn and in April 2019, N100bn was approved. The progress has been marvellous.
