Ballistic plates are an integral part of modern warfare. They not only protect vital organs, but give increased confidence to go forth and face the enemy! When bullets are flying and everything is exploding around you, a little extra confidence can make all the difference

Very intense! This is about 5km from the last place I fought, and it was difficult to watch. The soldiers seem mostly stoic, but there is so much hidden fear and uncertainty. It is a horrible situation for them, and I hope we can do more to get them out of it 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

I do not see or hear any in this video. Everything here takes place within 50 sq meters, so the counter batter may be working and just not noticeable. Equally likely is that it is not working, unfortunately. It takes a bit of time and calculation to do counterbattery work, and

Landmines aren't that big. Most of what you see are craters from artillery explosions. The exposed dirt heats up more during the day and retains heat longer into the night than the surrounding grass. The tiny, less bright dots could be mines, but the vast majority are craters

It is a ballistic rated helmet, hence "ballistic helmet." It does not mean the helmet is being used as a projectile. It means the helmet is rated to stop projectiles. Tactical helmet can refer to other helmets, like a bump helmet, which is tactical but basically a bicycle
