A visiting ex-coworker that I hadn't seen since before HRT, is super conservative. I knew that if she got the drop on me, she'd deadname and make me cry, and if I controlled the situation instead, I'd manage. So, I proactively got the drop on her. 1/2

She didn't recognize me at first, but after a couple of minutes of talking with her, her jaw dropped as she stood still and deadnamed me. I tilted my head, asked, "Who?" and then walked away as her jaw sat on the ground. >:3

Got deadnamed (to my face!) while at work today, by the same person as last time's misgender. Took me all of 30 seconds after the evil lady left, to break down into sobbing tears as my friends rushed over to help me.
