@Aleric45 @MFretired @ChrisVanHollen While I completely agree with you that we’ve allowed banks like your employer get away with much, and that we should not be bailing them out; the bailout after the 2008 housing crash is the reason why the agency was created in 2011. I agree, we should not decrease regulations

@LarryTaunton The “fortress-like” offices of USAID? Is this your first time traveling abroad? What do you think US government buildings abroad look like, old, decrepit and easy to climb over?

@TheLizard @MFretired @ChrisVanHollen 😂😂😂😂 I’m always so surprised to hear you think democrats are such an organized cohort. I forget they are supposed to be controlling the government from the inside to lose at every turn

@MFretired @ChrisVanHollen The budget for 2025 is $823 million. Since its creation in 2021, the Bureau has returned $21 billion to people's wallets. This means that even if you subtract the yearly budget (at this year’s increased cost of 823 mill), the CFPB still made us 8.6 billion.

@JMSieloff @emzorbit @tyillc @GovMikeKehoe What was musk able to produce in an actual court? Why do you think judge Nichol ruled the way he did? I guess screenshot/ tweets sparing payments from HHS which he was trying to conflate with USAID did not hold in an actual court

@mwstateofmind @coopercooperco Since its creation in 2011, the CFPB has returned $20.7 billion to consumers Elon hates regulations, cause we’ve built those to make sure big companies can exploit people harder. I’m ok with regulations cause I am people, not a company
