Great night on Saturday watching 🏴 v 🇫🇷 play rugby as part of the 6 Nations. 🏉 Such a close match! A great 🏴 victory by just 1 point in the last few moments. Tense stuff! Big thanks to @IF_Rwanda for hosting us and to @RugbyRwanda players for turning out in support.

With #burnsnight fast approaching (the moment every year to celebrate the life and legacy of Scotland’s national poet Robert Burns) it was great to hear the amazing sound of the bagpipes echo over the High Commission garden .. beautiful!
We were treated to a great impromptu bagpipe performance this afternoon by a colleague visiting #Kigali. It was delightful to introduce this iconic instrument to our Rwandan staff!

Happy New Year! Have had a great start to 2025 showing 11 members of my family the wonders of 🇷🇼. For most it was their first trip to 🌍. They all fell in love with the country, the people, the wildlife, the landscape and definitely the coffee ☕️

We @UKinRwanda fully support this initiative. If anyone has any old roller banners that they no longer need, please do drop them off at our office. We can make sure they get turned into rugby tag belts to use in 🇷🇼schools. Let’s get more 🇷🇼kids playing 🏉
For years I've made tag belts for @RwandanRugby sewing donated Velcro onto old banners. Delighted that the women's cooperative is making them. But we need banners in Rwanda- any of my Rwandan friends have contacts who could donate old banners? @A_ThorpeUK
