The UK issued a travel advisory on your capital city and canceled flights leaving many of your citizens stranded. Your govt called the advisory reckless. You did not summon or demand a retraction from US/UK ambassadors. Instead, you went on a medical trip to the UK days later.

#SecureNorth is not an ordinary protest, our survival depends on it. There is no better time than now. In my near 46yrs of existence, I've never seen how powerful our voice can be, until #EndSARS . And then, it is not true that to protest is not in the DNA of #Nigerians .

It's been a rough and tough 10 years for me, reporting conflict and insecurity. From arrests and detentions, to official ridicules and negative profiling by the media. No journalist should go through this. #Journalismisnotacrime . #FreeThePress #WorldPressFreedomDay

In the end #Nigeria will triumph, because, no one, or group can fight forever.

The Nigerian Security agencies have interpreted Yele Sowore's pubic call for a march in protest against the government ( #RevolutionNow ), as incitement and treasonous. This is very disheartening.

Just In: Two children between the ages of 5 and 11 were abducted today in their homes in Jos, Plateau State. One of the kid was kidnapped around 2am this morning and the other, moments ago, at 7pm. Both children are still in captivity and the families are traumatized.

The civil society space in #Nigeria is shrinking at an alarming pace, #PressFreedom record is at it's worse since 1999. Why is the government threatened more by people and groups demanding accountability than from violent armed groups that end up with cash rewards and Amnesty?

Why would the Senate President sponsor armed robbers? To do what, make money he already has? Why are the words of robbery suspects so believable to prompt such slander, doesn't the police have the capacity to investigate this and gather evidence quietly, if there are any at all?

The fact that we still call this massacres banditry beats me. Remind me again, in which part of the world are people killed in such large numbers? Where else do we see this level of destruction other than in Northern Nigeria. This is beyond terrorism; this is war.

ZAMFARA IN THE LAST 7 DAYS remains a state where human lives are short & brutish. The state & federal govts that have the responsibility to protect human lives no longer do so and they no longer pretend to offer condolences or condemnatn to the victims, death has become common.
