@henhink I think they reckoned one of Tissoudali or Chalov would work out. Still early days for Chalov, but he hasn't set the world alight, and Tissoudali was loaned out to the UAE in January. PAOK's top scorer is their left back, which is kinda crazy

@henhink PAOK set the release clause and receive the vast majority of the fee. Of course, it would have taken some foresight to imagine they'd be left in this situation in the middle of the season. My point was more that of the three parties, they come out worst from the deal

@jkots9 I'm not so sure. Over 6.000 is a lot of ground to make up - equivalent to 12 extra wins. Plus, three Turkish teams should get UEL league phase bonus points next week, compared to Greece's two. I could see Greece catching Czechia next season though.
