Liverpool are literally the Real Madrid of England, yet their owners don't act like it. They don't have that ruthless edge or the motivation to win year in year out. All they do is peddle their profit and sustainability PR around instead of measuring success on the pitch

He's spot on. FSG ruined Klopp's era of dominance. After a collective bunch of transfer windows where FSG showed a lack of ambition, the cracks really started to show. Right now they've signed nobody for Slot. Now that Klopp is gone, FSG has finally been exposed.

I am a Real Madrid and Cristiano Penaldo fan and I think Aston Villa is 1000 times bigger and better than Real Fraudrid ever was, yes we exist.
With all the success that they've got, they should have every right to spend money and back the manager when he needs it. Instead they end up becoming "almost FC" and "we go again next year FC". That's the sort of feeble mentality that got you 1 title in 34 years.

Why is this guy always so proudy? Whenever I see this guy post, it just looks as if he's just stroking his ego. Then whenever things don't go his way he just makes posts sounding like he's crying rather than respecting the opponent
@ExJohnHonestyy
No promotion
No relegation
Not allowed to represent national team
Kicked from domestic league
Fans have to travel to different countries every single week just to watch their team play
Liverpool fans need to claim their club back. If their fans weren't so clapped and just being FSG puppets they'd be serial winners like Man City. They need a culture change

We sincerely apologize to the general public for this very act of nuisance. The person who posted this is one of our psychiatric patient who escaped three days ago. We therefore urge the general public to go about their normal duties as the situation is under control.
Thank you
Man City aren't successful just because they're state backed and spend lots of money. Look at clubs like PSG, they're also state backed yet they're not a dominant club like Man City. The reason Man City are successful is because their owners and manager are on the same page.
@ToniKroos
And rather than respecting that Chelsea were the better team on the night, he just sounds so condescending saying "good luck on your first CL final". I mean look at this guy's bio, just brags which year he won big trophies like UCL and World Cup.
Back to Liverpool, there were so many occasions where the owners have let Klopp down. Up until 2019 it was all well and good, but that's only because of the Coutinho sale. They won the UCL in 2019 and didn't even sign anyone in the summer to reinforce the squad.
Man Utd spend a lot of money, around £1bn since Fergie left yet they haven't won a major trophy such as the EPL or UCL. There's a difference between spending lots of money and being successful. People can cope all they want saying that Man City are state backed and 115 charges.

All in all, there's no wonder why Klopp ran out of energy and got fed up of constantly losing the title to Man City for like 3 seasons, even despite signing an extension to stay till 2026. Mediocrity like this is what ruins top class managers.
Seems like Arne Slot is the frontrunner to replace Klopp, this will be the ultimate test of FSG's ambition. We will now see if they set Slot up for success at Liverpool. Because Klopp was certainly set up to fail and worked miracles during his tenure.
Then in 2020 when they won the Prem they took a long time to sign Thiago and Jota, they signed Tsimikas who's a decent backup to Robbo, but they once again neglected the signing of a CB to replace Lovren who left that summer.
As much as I hate Real Madrid and Barcelona, I admire their elite mentality. You win or you get out. Simple philosophy. Look at Chelsea under Roman Abramovic, they sacked managers so often because they wanted to keep a winning culture. No sentiment, just success, results business
They had a huge loss in Sadio Mane. They brought in Darwin Nunez and fringe players like Fabio Carvalho and Calvin Ramsay, once again intentionally neglecting the midfield. Then at the end of the transfer window they laughed in Klopp's face by signing Arthur Melo on loan.
