🇳🇬🛢 Nigeria's Dangote refinery to reach full capacity within a month | @AU_ETTIM Africa's largest oil refinery, Dangote in Nigeria, will begin full operations in the next 30 days, local media reports. The refinery opened in January last year , initially producing diesel, crude oil and jet fuel, and added gasoline in September. The move is part of Nigeria's strategy to reduce its dependence on imported petroleum products and strengthen its domestic fuel supply. However, securing a stable supply of crude oil locally has become a challenge for the refinery. Once the Dangote plant reaches full capacity, it will be able to compete with European refineries and potentially export products throughout Africa and beyond. As production increases, the country is expected to create additional jobs, boost Nigeria's economy and reduce fuel import costs.

🇸🇩 Sudan's Foreign Ministry presents political roadmap for post-war period | @AUC_PAPS @AU_HHS “After consultations with national and social forces, Sudan’s leadership has developed a roadmap to prepare for the post-war phase and the resumption of an inclusive political process that will culminate in elections,” the ministry said in a statement. The statement comes amid the successes of the Sudanese army, which has taken control of large areas of the states of El Gezira and Khartoum. The roadmap includes a number of key steps, including the formation of a new government and changes to the constitution. The head of the Sovereign Council, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, confirmed the army's intention to establish full control over the country and finally defeat the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). According to him, according to the presented roadmap, during the four-year transition period after the end of the war, all power in the country will be concentrated in the hands of the army, which will appoint a prime minister to form a government. In addition, the roadmap sets strict conditions for any negotiations with the RSF rebels: "We do not accept calls for a ceasefire until the siege of El Fasher is lifted, provided that the ceasefire is followed by the withdrawal of troops from Khartoum, West Kordofan and Darfur," al-Burhan said.

Morocco Purchases 36 Artillery Mounts from Israel The country's authorities have signed a contract with the Israeli defense company Elbit Systems for the supply of 36 Atmos 2000 155mm wheeled self-propelled howitzers, La Tribune reports. The Atmos 2000 howitzers are designed to destroy manpower, artillery batteries and fortifications, as well as to overcome minefields. Similar systems are already used by the armies of Rwanda, Uganda and Cameroon. ⚡️ Morocco's cooperation with Israel resumed in 2020 and continues today, despite the latter's actions in the Gaza Strip.
