Ultimately, Jake is petrified of the possibility of KSI beating Tommy Fury. If KSI wins, it puts him so far clear of Jake that a fight between the two isn't worth watching and would steal a lot of the American viewers that watch Jake as a sort of mystique around how far he can go.
