Donald Trump's comments about Kamala Harris's heritage are inexcusable. This is the type of racist, vile rhetoric we've come to expect from him, and yet another reason why he is deeply unfit to hold office.
Trump tells Black journalists that Kamala Harris "is of Indian heritage ... is she Indian or is she Black? ... she became a Black person." Note the audience laughing at him.

Shame on Republican leaders for using the Supreme Court's decision to overturn affirmative action as a wedge issue and for picking and choosing when they want to be "allies" to the AANHPI community. Diversity is our greatest strength, and we should be working to further it.
