The spectacular and irreplaceable Dr. Jimmie Holland died suddenly on Sunday, December 24th at age 89. For the APOS community, our society would simply not exist without Jimmie. We will miss her terribly and remain deeply committed to honor her legacy.
Caregivers are the unseen workforce supporting the health care infrastructure. Caregivers in the US provide an average of 18 hours of care per week. That’s 36 billion hours of likely unpaid care.

APOS both mourns the loss and celebrates the life of the irreplaceable Dr. Ruth McCorkle. What an honor it has been to have had the opportunity to know and love her. Ruth was pivotal to the founding and success of APOS and served as President and champion every step of the way.
