What an awesome experience the @IGHSAU puts on for girls wrestling! I'm proud to have been here the last two days to report on inspiring area athletes! This is my final state event with Mid-America Publishing, and my final byline will be in the February 20 issue.

Earlier this year, two Aplington-Parkersburg alumni announced they’ll transfer to finish their collegiate track & field careers. Sophia Jungling will transfer from Northern Iowa to LSU. Megan Johnson will transfer from Central College to Oklahoma. Bo

It's possible that nobody in Des Moines enjoyed a State championship more than @APGirlsTandF. DQ'd from the shuttle hurdle TWO YEARS IN A ROW, the Falcons finished 2024 with the best redemption.
