📙 Weekly Ecosystem Update This week brings major progress across the ecosystem. Here's what's happening. ⬇️ 1️⃣ Ledger Integration for Light Wallets @WeAreRoute3 is assessing Ledger support integration and will provide a recorded demo soon! 2️⃣Bridge Audit & Redeployment Bridge audit on track with all fixes implemented and currently under review. The team is looking to commission additional security audits by external parties prior to mainnet launch. 3️⃣Reputation System BETA 2.0 & Marketing Push The Reputation System is progressing toward BETA 2.0; release targeted for end of the week. Full release is expected following mainnet launch. A marketing campaign will support the release to boost adoption. 4️⃣Bridge Validator Onboarding The final cohort of testnet validators is confirmed, with onboarding to finish in the next 8 days. Work is underway to improve validator communication monitoring. 5️⃣Ethernal: End-to-End Testing & Deployment ✅ All E2E tests have been successfully executed in local environments and finalized for testnet. ✅ Now that audit fixes are complete, we are entering the final testing phase before moving forward with partners. 6️⃣ Nexus & Bridge Testnet Readiness Work on Nexus and the Testnet Bridge is currently ongoing. The final list of E2E tests provided by @ethernal_tech will be deployed on testnet soon. 7️⃣ Vector Testnet Fixes ✅ Issue Identified: A block on the Vector Testnet had an invalid network ID (0). ➡️Last Week’s Fixes: Added Docker image of the node to the release workflow. Fixed usage example in Blaze. Updated Vector tools documentation. Compiling DB Sync with our ledger (ongoing). ➡️ Next Steps: DB Sync: Compile with tested ledger, fix tests, build Docker, and integrate into the release workflow. The team is finalizing key components, ensuring stability, security, and seamless integration across the ecosystem. The app can be found on both the App Store and Google Play Store, offering a seamless experience for mobile users. 4/🧵 Reputation System Update The BETA 2.0 release is set for February, bringing significant improvements. Quest automation and WebSockets for real-time notifications are complete and pending deployment. The team is now focusing on UI/UX improvements and refining features for the next iteration. 5/🧵 Bridge Audit Progress The Bridge Audit remains on track, with all fixes implemented by January 31st. The audit remediation phase is underway and expected to conclude by February 15th. End-to-end tests have been successful, and Testnet testing is nearly complete. Internal deployment before engaging partners could ensure a smoother transition. 6/🧵 Apex Fusion - Visual Style Guidelines Apex Fusion now has a new Brandbook defining its visual identity, with clear guidelines and downloadable assets. It is being integrated into the Apex Fusion website for easy access by partners and stakeholders. 7/🧵 SPO Status There are currently 134 active pools on Mainnet, and the number is still growing! On February 6, Apex Fusion hosted an X Space with SPOs and SPO-as-a-Service providers, where we discussed how smooth the process has been, the next steps, and how others can get involved in the SPO ecosystem. One suggestion that I have for all of us in the Cardano community is to let the comments and opinions of the past go and embrace a full reset of all ecosystems. As many of you know, I've been a bit prickly towards other communities and have apologized to BTC, XRP, Solana, and others. We need to accept that a lot of influencers and leaders in other ecosystems have returned that favor and said some pretty terrible and untrue things about Cardano. Now, they are taking a second look at our ecosystem and technology. We ought to embrace them and forget the past. 2025 is about unity and progress. We have a window to make crypto mainstream and grow our markets to the tens of trillions of dollars of value, thereby entering every home and government alike. We can not allow petty tribalism to squander this opportunity
