, where he had been on the faculty since 1971.

The APA is saddened to note the passing of Professor Jerry Fodor (1935–2017). Fodor served as president of the APA Eastern Division in 2005–2006 and was professor emeritus at Rutgers University, where he had been on the faculty since 1988.
The new APA Committee on the Status of Disabled People in the Profession will focus on making the profession of philosophy fully accessible to disabled people and those who care for them.
