HUGE win against Choate in the first round of NEPSAC A Playoffs! @JeffreyAkintolu won the glass cleaner award and in a room full of guys who earned a hard hat, @TPrendergast25 was the first guy on the ground. It’s what we do! Semifinals against Milton on Saturday!

Won at Kent today, having connected on 17 three pointers from 8 different Winged Beavers. Team effort! @melvin99349412 cleaned the glass and @BanksMonin won our hard hat award today. Long winter weekend is just in time! 💤

Won game 2 of the Class A Winter Showcase, 63-49 over Dexter Southfield. That puts us at 5-2 (5-1 Class A) as we head into break. @TPrendergast25 was awarded our HARD HAT award for tough plays, and the way Blake Smith rebounded his position earned him the GLASS CLEANER award!

A few years ago, Jake Horowitz '24 began a project in which he made bagged lunches for those in need. He brought that tradition with him to Avon and inspired his teammates to help. With his leadership we were able to bag more than 150 lunches this past Saturday!

Won an absolute war against a very talented Hotchkiss team, 62-57. Matt Curtis battled injury to win the Hard Hat Award, while @JeffreyAkintolu cleaned the glass yet again. But make no mistake everybody played an incredible role tonight. We earned it together.

Coach rewrote the narrative of basketball in the state of Connecticut. He won 17 Big East titles and 3 national championships. It was an honor to host him at @avonoldfarms.
Our Varsity Basketball team had a special guest at practice today! Coach Jim Calhoun stopped by to give the boys some advice and motivation ahead of the NEPSAC Championship tournament, which begins on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. when Avon head to Choate for their first-round matchup.

Very happy to announce that Postgrad Brian Amabilino Perez will attend the Univ. of Rochester next year! Brian had a great year at AOF, avg 14.7ppg & 6.1rpg He should be a good fit for the Yellowjackets system. Will also be a great academic fit. @NERRHoops @UofRathletics.
