My latest paper explores the development of priority & selectivity rules to teach introductory organic reaction mechanisms to Year 1 chemistry undergraduates. The aim is for students to predict mechanisms, rather than just learn them. #chemed #chemtwitter

I felt very proud of Gemma and Will, who both completed their PhDs in my research group, and Andrew, who was my personal tutee throughout his undergraduate degree.
It was lovely to welcome back Leicester Graduates, Andrew Warner, Gemma Harris and Will Riley, to the School of Chemistry to promote a career with @SygnatureDiscov to our PhD students. It was fantastic to see them all doing so well in their careers. #chemtwitter @LeicesterAlumni
