@DrPresleyFan So now you care about inflation? You ignored it for the last 4 years, but now you care? Makes sense.

@CalltoActivism The same guy who had an 8 hour hunger strike and needed medical care to watch him? That’s your champion? Ok.

@redhead_ophelia As an American, you’re just another line on a balance sheet. The value of your country is just your natural resources and blackmail, nothing more.

@SenBooker I hope he investigates you as well. Sounds like you have something to hide and we want to know.

@CalltoActivism I think the only people he will haunt are the people he will expose. So it sounds like he has something to hide, which makes me want him confirmed even more.

@SenSchumer Kindly shut the fuck up. You didn’t care about inflation the last 4 years, so don’t pretend to care now.

@hakeemjeffries Oh now you care about inflation. I wish you would’ve cared when Biden was president.

@DoctorHenryCT Yeah I’m going to go ahead and blame the guy that was in office the entire time inflation was running unchecked over the guy that’s been in office for a few weeks. Nice try at a grift though.

It was not. The Great Recession caused deflation in Obama’s first year in office, with an average of -0.4% inflation. The second year inflation rose to the figure you’re citing and by the third year was touching 4%. It did trend down to a manageable range by the end of his presidency, but trying to say it was a flat 1.2% is extremely disingenuous and lacking historical accuracy to fit your straw man argument. At the end of the day it was congressional spending and COVID that caused the deficit you’re describing and all deficits; including Biden and Obama’s, were due to spending. Biden had 4 years to fix “Trump’s mess,” yet all he did was ramp up spending, print a shit ton of money and made inflation worse. So spare me any attempt at blaming solely Trump. Had draconian lockdown measures not been implemented by the states, most of that spending wouldn’t have been necessary and had he not signed those bills passed by Congress, you and the like would be criticizing him for it; claiming that “Trump didn’t take care of the people!”

@theonlydyl_ Gee, if only he’d done that in the first 3 quarters of play. Maybe then the eagles wouldn’t have had to pull all of their starters.
