For Immediate Release: Avondale High School Stabbing Investigation On Tuesday, February 4th, 2025, at approximately 7:50 a.m., the Auburn Hills Police Department was informed of an altercation that took place in a bathroom at the Avondale High School.

*Update* Avondale High School: Investigators have located and are speaking with the juvenile suspect. No other students were injured in the incident. This appears to be an isolated incident between two students.

*Update* Avondale High School Incident: The 15 year old male student sustained minor non-life threatening injuries. He was taken to the hospital by family. The 16 year old male suspect was seen on camera leaving the school campus. Investigators are working to locate him.

Officers are on scene at Avondale High School investigating an assault. The two juvenile males involved have been identified. The school is safe and is lifting the lockdown.

Our thoughts are with the passengers, crew, and the families from the American Airlines/Army Helicopter collision in Washington D.C. This is an unthinkable tragedy and we are praying for all those who are involved, including the first responders who are still working the scene.

This female dog was found yesterday morning near Baldwin and Vista with no collar and a makeshift leash. She is super friendly and is dark brown almost black with a white chest. She was taken to Oakland County Animal Control.
