Saw this sign for the first time at the entrance to a Woolworths store this morning.😳 I trust it works BOTH ways?🤔 I am high on treating people with respect at all times, but IMO this sign has a WOKE smell to it.

Were welcome to join in on it. So where is the harm? Who is being hurt right now. Because after your 6 brandy's and you're swinging on your significant other or you've puffed enough smoke around kids to give them lung cancer, you jump off your high horse and fuck yourself.

This is a hot topic but it has happened and is still actively happening. Some people don’t want to work for it, they want it handed to them on a silver platter and when they don’t get it, they & thier friends will publicly guilt, harass, shame and manipulate brands using sleazy tactics. "Don’t tell me I need to work harder" - yes you do. You can't blame brands for not recognising you, if what you do is exactly the same as everyone else. If you are not offering anything unique, nor providing unique or specialised skillsets that a company would seek out, you can not genuinely be surprised if you are not chosen for an opportunity that has been offered to someone more qualified that yourself. You need to become a valuable asset which offers prospective brands something they can only acquire from you. That being said one of the most disgusting and infuriating comments I saw come out of the local scene was: "You only got that opportunity because of XYZ" NO. We work harder than everyone else around us for the chance to be noticed for our exceptional work, our ideas our executions, the tools that we offer and our quality of product, as well as decades of industry experience in various disciplines outside of content creation. Don’t attempt to minimise the achievements of others and attribute thier success to luck, chance, bias, conspiracy or some random factor outside thier control when your overall work is substandard. These are the same types of people who will speak poorly of you behind your back, target you, publicly rally all their friends to harass you hoping it will create a narrative and sully your pubic appearance. It is easier to blame others or to blame factors outside your control because it means you don’t have to take responsibility for your failures. If what you are doing isn't netting you the result you want, then tweak what you are doing, pivot and try again.
