It's Cancer Action Day in Iowa! Cancer survivors and advocates are headed to the state Capitol to ask #ialegis for medical debt relief. Too many Iowans are getting diagnosed with cancer and too many of them (even insured Iowans) are taking on medical debt to pay for it.

Medical debt is a significant burden to those facing cancer. ACS CAN is asking lawmakers to prioritize legislation that would reduce the burden of medical debt for Iowans and prevent patients from incurring medical debt.
