Well-deserved @olgarithmic, congratulations!
The Australian Academy of the Humanities is proud to announce Dr Olga Boichak @olgarithmic from @Sydney_Uni as the recipient of the 2024 Max Crawford Medal. It is the most prestigious award for achievement and promise in the Humanities and is awarded annually to an early-career scholar. Dr Boichak’s research plays an important role in understanding how media culture can directly impact contemporary wars, drawing on her own experiences of the war in Ukraine. She will dedicate the medal to the hundreds of Ukrainian scholars who have lost their lives to the Russian invasion: @EmcrShape @SICSSSydney
