Today we created a visual for the water cycle and this is how it turned out. We will be observing changes over the next few days and recording it. The students were excited and engaged! And I feel accomplished! It was a great teaching day ☺️

Today, the focus of our experiment was to infer motion, direction, speed, and distance by building a marshmallow catapult. My kids really enjoyed testing out their theories and we had a lot of “aha moments💡”

Our first Let Me Run club meeting went a little something like this … A lot of the boys ran a mile in 10 minutes and I’m actually kind of jealous 😂 I can tell I’m going to love this a lot!

My students completely exceeded my expectations with their own version of a Rube Goldberg simple machine to show force and motion. Seeing their reactions to their work coming together and working together as a team made my heart smile ❤️ #TheCreekisRising

Today, I implemented one of the think posters to the lesson. Students had to prove if the statement on the board was right or wrong and prove their answer! I’m going to do this with them more often ☺️
