We took part in the World of Remembrance Day for Road Traffic Victims in Raleigh with @_NCAST_ legislators, teen ambassadors and local law enforcement. The 165 shoes represented the number of teens lost on nc roads in 2023. We also attended the Charlotte event which honored everyone lost in NC in the last 3 years. The hundreds of shoes deliver a powerful message to us all - to practice safe driving.

Good news for the roadways! AAA found that new(2024) model vehicles with automatic emergency braking avoided 100% of forward collisions. A huge improvement over 2017-2018 models. See the full report:
