I knew! Wanna know why? Post update hooks have been an internal thing first and I implemented the way to define them as a part of the config. Was one of my early OSS contributions 🙂
Did you know that Scala Steward can also run custom steps using postUpdateHook when added to .scala-steward.conf. In the below snippet, whenever sbt updates, Scala Steward will run sbt updateYaml command after the update and commit the changes.
