Nothing he said is wrong. Arsenal fans don’t seem to understand our biggest issue is controlling the midfield. Every side Rice has played for has had these issues. It’s not a coincidence
Pep was terrified of Garnacho & Rashford transitioning (United’s only trick, but a f*cking good one) so he put Foden & Bernardo behind the ball & killed City’s momentum from minute 1-25.
By the time he changed (Stones stepping forward, Foden 1 up etc). it was too late and the
I’m so confused. People really think Rice shouldn’t be doing more in possession ? £105mil spent to be a destroyer.. maybe I’m holding him to too high of a standard

Palmer is Englands only 10 who can score, create, do quick combos & carry the ball well.. Jude & Foden are lacking in one or two of these imo
An attacking midfielder should not struggle playing out wide especially when they’re given freedom to roam. Look at Musiala & listen to the excuses being made for foden
@whosgenrul
I don’t think our game plan was perfect. The fact we was so defensive & still created the better chances makes me think if we had been braver we win imo
Our wingers are our most threatening players. They get double teamed regularly … the midfield is open yet we fail to cause damage there... Any elite 6 is having a field day if they see the opposition defending like that
I love Havertz but these types of comments are the reason why there’s a lack of top quality strikers itw... Why can’t a striker do this & also score? Why does it have to be either or.. coaches encouraging this are a problem
Julian Nagelsmann defends Havertz:
"He has a clear job in many games, which means that he doesn't have many ball actions because he should create space for others. He did that exceptionally well. In the internal assessment, Kai is ranked much higher than in the public."
The LB thing from Ian Wright will be ridiculed. (I think Saka should go LW) but hes CLEARLY just trying to find a solution to a mess right now that England have. Saka WAS A VERY GOOD LEFT BACK. Its not a diss.
It may come across as hating from most Arsenal fans but truth is they’ve been fed with the best technicians in pl era so when foden is given this tag they ain’t letting it run
Foden being this close to Haaland output wise while being probably the most aesthetically pleasing player in the world, is EXACTLY why he’s getting all the accolades he’s receiving this year, stupendous campaign
Spent £105mil on him & I don’t think he is exceptional as a 6 or an 8. An extremely good defensive minded midfielder.. never worth the fee paid if we are being honest
His style isn’t suited to those matches. Specifically on the rhs where his one footedness cuts off a lot of possibilities + his lack of driving with the ball
He’s a top player but his style is slightly overrated imo. He’s a forward who’s got a really good eye for goal & is deceptively quick. Arsenal mid 2000s to late 2010s were littered with high quality attacking mids
@AJ__SR7
How could the system not be optimal for an attacking midfielder who was constantly receiving passes in the most dangerous areas for an attacker ?
