Muhammad is from the lineage of Ismail (Ishmael), son of Ibrahim (Abraham), and Ismail also lived with the Arabs and married from among them. That is why Allah did not describe Muhammad as "Arab" in the Qur'an.

Translating divine speech into a language other than its original language strips it of its sacredness; what remains after the translation is speech that commands respect, not sanctity. Muslims have translated the Qur'an into several languages, but they do not consider the translations to be sacred like the Qur'an in Arabic; rather, they are merely interpretations of it.
