So what are you saying? The figures are wrong and in fact Xbox is outselling PlayStation? By the way shipped consoles are sold consoles. Retailers BUY the goods from the suppliers to sell on. It retailers are not buying Xbox consoles it likely because they know they won’t sell.

@MldGhost @The_CrapGamer That won’t work. I promise you that Sony will put a stop to that. They are half way there with their own launchers on PC which won’t run on this Xbox/Steam hybrid console. You are making it out that it’s so simple when in actual fact it’s not!

With the last few State of Play from PlayStation I try to keep my expectations in check. It is like I may once again feel underwhelmed…but I just have a feeling…this one will surprise a lot of people!

Such a strange way of looking at it. Xbox take 70% from each of their games on published PlayStation. That 70% would have to cover costs for development, marketing, wages, licensing,etc… Each game if it makes a profit will of course be part of that 70%…the amount of profit? Who knows? The 30% that PlayStation take…well that’s pure profit. For doing absolutely nothing.

It doesn’t level the playing field in the slightest. I game on PC and have an extensive Steam library. I can hand on heart say I have never purchased any titles from the Xbox store because there is more value in getting those titles on Steam. In addition many on the popular titles you can buy on Steam from publishers such as EA, Rockstar, Ubisoft need their own launchers. For that to be implemented on a console would be difficult to say the least. Like I said…I can’t see this happening.

@MldGhost @JayDubcity16 Too this extent? Who? What journalists or DF employees have banded together to scheme up misinformation about PlayStation? And then that misinformation is spread by the usual well known influencers.

I really don’t get what MS gains by making their hardware able to have a Steam OS. What do they gain out of it? Likelyhood is all the Steam games will be cheaper through 3rd party stores like CDKeys, GOG, etc… unless they do some serious price matching. And remember that Xbox will make absolutely NOTHING from those sales. Never say never….but I can’t see this happening.

This game look amazing and is the Xbox game I am most looking forward to at present. Has its own unique art style and the story looks to be very interesting!

I have no doubt that GTA VI will cause a massive spike in console sales. Those on previous Gen consoles will upgrade just for this game. That’s how big GTA is. Except if you are going to upgrade to current Gen why would you go for Xbox X|S? Poor sales. No exclusives. No care from the top about the Hardware. Xbox sales will still plummet this year. The massive spike in sales will be for PS5 which will only increase the gulf between the two consoles.

@PewNightmare @MldGhost @OGG1993 Devs don't pay my bills. And they get paid by MS to put their games on Gamepass. Only braindead people think they are "better" for paying more to play less 💀💀💀

The only appealing feature of the Xbox Consoles now is the backwards compatibility. For me though…it’s not enough to invest in the console.

@Darkborn162 I would genuinely be surprised if they hit the 1.3 million mark. It’s a shame because now that the Xbox Studios games are coming in thick and fast, I would have considered Series X if they were not good by full third party.

Can’t really disagree on any of the points made by @kjngamer Sony has been lacking in their communications across the board from the recent PSN outage to a road map for what’s in the pipe line!
When PSN was down, it showed further more on what Playstation needs to start doing better on Communicating and listening more to their fanbase - Many did not want a full turnover of live service games and look at the results. Many years of time wasted and resources - Roadmap needs to be improved. I'm not saying of games. Many years ahead, but there have been some studios with 4 years plus since their last game and not even a teaser of the next title, nothing - Showcase. It has been over a year and a half since last showcase, which I'm gonna be honest. Wasn't their greatest. Playstation use to make a big statement year upon year when it came to E3 and their showcases. It needs to do better - When something like PSN outage happens, they need someone to talk out to communicate and update people what is going on via social media's
