Exeter’s Kyle Ball started at second base for Stetson in today’s 11-1 victory over Oklahoma State. Stetson has the nation’s longest winning streak (18 games) and advanced to the Super Regionals for the first time in school history.

This year’s CHaD East-West All-Star Game is a go, and will be played July 17 at Saint Anselm College. Souhegan’s Robin Bowkett (West) and Spaulding’s Kevin Hebert (East) will be the head coaches.

Here's some positive news: American Legion representatives have been asked to submit a proposal to the Governor's task force regarding how to have a safe season in 2020. There will be a legion meeting tonight and the proposal will be reviewed by the task force on Monday.
The Detroit Tigers selected Stratham resident Ben Malgeri in the 18th round. Malgeri, an outfielder, is an Exeter High School graduate who plays for Northeastern.
The East will take the field with 10 players on its first defensive play in today's CHaD Game in tribute to Londonderry's Jake Naar, who was selected to the team as a defenive lineman but died in an automobile accident in March.

NH was home to a national tourney last weekend in an NHIAA-sanctioned sport. Kids are going to play sports this fall whether their school district offers them or not. At least with NHIAA sports safety guidelines will be in place. No guarantee of that with other organizations.

If I have this correct, a group of 10-12 kids will be able to work out at an indoor baseball facility in the near future, but that same group may not be able to work out on the OUTDOOR field right next to the facility?
