Took all the staples out today bc I was indeed correct, they skin was growing over them. To the point where I had to reopen the wound to pull them out with tweezers 🫣🫠🫠🫠 this is the part no one tells out about lmao was way more tedious and painful than the cut itself

Half the staples are out, it’s a little bit fast (only day 8) but I removed most of them because they were starting to either get buried under new skin or I felt were reducing the speed of wound healing. I disinfected with iodine after and used surgical tape with gauze and a wrap
