@WinningCoaches Pressure changes everything. Doing anything at less than top speed is using a completely different energy system and is a completely different skill set.

@latsondheimer It doesn’t cost the school or district anything when a coach runs an off season program. The benefits go beyond athletic development. Kids have a place to go after school, they have role models to guide them. They have a safe place. The world is less now.

@thewizeblkman @chriscfore You have a point, but it’s not good for the sport for a school to not have a team. It’s not good for the kids for the school to not have a team. Athletics is the last class of the day. We all know that there are lessons taught that can’t otherwise be taught.

@ModestTeacher The textbook that the district uses for the subject that I teach is a 2005 edition. Next year, it’s be old enough to buy a drink. I had to personally buy a translated version off of EBay. It’s shameful.
