Congratulations to Mouna for winning April’s Employee of the Month! She was mentioned in numerous F&F surveys and Message to Matron cards for being a caring and attentive nurse. The PET scan department also called the ward to give very positive feedback for Mouna ☺️

Congrats to Charlie for winning March Employee of the Month! Charlie was nominated for; planning the raffle to raise money to improve patient experience, planning the monthly ward socials alongside the SDMC, and for high standard nursing documentation in pressure area care ☺️😊

The first outing as part of Ward 39/OAU’s Shared Decision Making Council initiative of ‘Payday Socials’ once a month. A chance for staff to meet up outside of work to have some down time, regroup as a team and share ideas!

So pleased to have won the Patient Feedback Competition. Proud that we are able to offer care and comfort to our patient’s and carer’s, some who are going through the hardest moments. We are using the money on a tea trolley for OAU’s triage room to improve patient experience ☺️

The patients on Ward 39/OAU loved the handmade shortbread biscuits made by our lovely Angie and the roses and chocolates brought in by Jayne to celebrate Valentine’s Day ♥️ We hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s Day with their loved ones 💕
