#GMAC M SOC Final Findlay - 3 Walsh - 1 Again all goals were scored in the second half in this one. Findlay’s Gaszynski scored in the 64th minute, but Walsh answered almost immediately in the 66th minute on a goal from Bobby Moore. Walsh is now 5-3-2 overall and 3-3-1 in the league.

#GMAC M SOC Final Northwood - 4 Malone - 1 A second half goal-fest ( game tied 0-0 at half) saw Northwood come out the victor 4-1 over Malone on Saturday afternoon. Malone got their goal in the 62nd minute to tie the game at 1–1. The pioneers’ goal game from Gavin Csiszar.

#GMAC M SOC Final Ashland - 2 Thomas More - 0 After a scoreless first half the @AshlandMSoccer team got a goal each from Pedro Faria and Vander Rocha to win 2-0 on the road. It was both Faria and Rocha’s sixth goal of the season as they are tied for the team lead in goals. Ty Bowden picked up the clean sheet for the Eagles with 5 saves. Ashland now 5-5-2 overall and 5-1-2 in the league. Thomas More dips to 5-6-1 and 3-4–1 in league.

The numbers don’t lie, this was a very even match-up: First Downs NW - 22 FD - 24 Rush Yards NW - 144 FD - 135 Rec Yards NW - 280 FD - 310

The Storm stormed out to a 14-0 lead through the first quarter, but the Panthers would out-score Lake Erie 41-3 and end up winning this one going away. Lake Erie’s Jovohn Tucker had five catches for 133 yards and a TD. ODU ran the snot out of the ball for a total of 252 yards on the ground. Travis Whittaker led the way for the Panthers with 144 yards rushing and two TDs.

Michael Herzog went berserk on the ground for Hillsdale ripping off 146 yards on 27 rushes and threw TDs. Tiffin’s Kason Martin chucked the ball around for 17 completions, 268 yards passing and two touchdowns. #Tiffin #Hillsdale #GMAC #Football

#GMAC FB Prediction 9/7 AM Re-post Lake Erie – 10 Ohio Dominican – 24 One of these two teams won’t be winless in the league anymore after their clash on Saturday. We’ll roll with the Panthers’ 2nd ranked league defense to bring a victory home for ODU. Watch For – ODU’s Eddie Miller-Garrett, he’s the dude. Miller-Garrett is 2nd in the league in sacks and 3rd in tackles for a loss.

#GMAC FB Predictions 9/7 AM re-post Walsh - 21 Ashland – 27   Will this game come down to the final drive? We’ll predict yes! Ashland gets a late TD to overcome their rivals at home.   Both teams sit smack dab in the middle of the league coming into this showdown. Speaking of right down the middle; Ashland averages 26.6 points per game on offense and gives up 27.4 points per game, which is kind of neat.   Watch For – Can Ashland keep Walsh’s defensive juggernaut Cam Hollobaugh out of their backfield? Hollobaugh wreaked havoc last week and the linebacker was named the #GMAC Defensive Player of the Week.

#GMAC FB Prediction 9/7 AM Re-post Findlay - 31 Northwood - 20   Findlay is looking to stay unbeaten in league play when they travel to Northwood on Saturday.  The Oilers have the 2nd ranked rushing offense in the league while Northwood ranks 9th in rushing defense.    Watch For  - Findlay’s backfield tandem of Brian Benson and Alec Bornhorst ranked 4th and 6th respectively in the GMAC rushing leaders. Can they keep it rolling on the road?

#GMAC FB Prediction 9/7 AM are-post Thomas More - 20 Kentucky Wesleyan – 21   Wesleyan is 2-0 at home including back-to-back wins over Walsh and ODU earlier this season, then played a close one on the road last week at Findlay.   Thomas More also started the season 2-0 in the league, but then ran into the offensive-minded Tiffin and lost at home last week 47-9.   Both team will look to bounce back after week five losses and the winner will keep pace with league leading Tiffin and Findlay.
