My older brother is entering hospice care after deciding against yet another surgery. He’s done letting the medical system abuse him and his time on earth is very close to ending.
Driving to the Colorado mountains to see him and perhaps say goodbye.

Dani had a heart attack and passed away. Alone on her kitchen floor.

My 24 hour Brisket is done.
Used the method the famous Goldie’s uses. It’s so tender it can hardly be sliced. The bark is this incredible, thick not to tough consistency. The taste is unreal.

Was able to visit my Brother tonight. They are set to do surgery tomorrow. He’s in good spirits and told me that if this doesn’t work then he’d like to be done with the doctors.
We held hands and laughed and told some stories about our Mom.
Whatever the next days bring is ok.
